Our Story

As a rider, Alexandra Cherubini searched long and hard for state-of-the-art equipment and gear. Unable to find what she envisioned on the market, she set out with a team of orthopedists to research and develop performance- enhancing equestrian solutions. She found inspiration from the medical industry and soon founded EquiFit, Inc. to create her own technologically advanced product lines.

Alexandra came across T-Foam, the ultra-soft, form-fitting padding first used by NASA for shock-absorption, and immediately recognized its potential to provide comfort and stability in horse gear. It is now the core lining material for T-Boot Originals and the new EXP, LUXE and Xcel lines, launched to meet a broader range of rider needs. She has also developed saddle pads, posture and back supports, leg wraps, bandage liners and will soon roll-out T-Foam dog beds for pet-loving riders on the road. Rumor has it, her dog Samson and others vie for spots on the prototypes at the barn.

Alexandra is constantly on the lookout for new product ideas and improvements. She often draws on her own experience for insight into products that would provide riders and horse owners a competitive edge. She began riding at the age of 12 and even with the hectic pace of her business, continues to show in both hunters and jumpers throughout the country.

The 28-year old entrepreneur is also a partner in Samson Projects gallery in Bostons south end and graduated from Bates College with a degree in anthropology.
